ANGVIS Music Distribution is invite-only. Submit a short application - if accepted, you'll receive an invite code within 48 hours. If a label or contact already gave you a code, sign in directly with it.

No upfront fees. Your exact royalty split is disclosed in full before you sign anything, with a $10 minimum payout.

Am I locked in?

No exclusive recording contract. Only the tracks you deliver to ANGVIS Music Distribution are exclusive. You can leave with 30 days notice and your rights revert to you.

What about sync placements?

You pitch your own tracks to the sync briefs we bring in: film, TV, advertising, and games. ANGVIS Music Distribution handles the one-stop license, master and composition together, so a supervisor can clear it in one place. When a placement lands, fees are split 50/50 and your share is paid alongside your quarterly royalties.

Do you collect neighboring rights and publishing?

Yes. We register your compositions with PROs and your masters with neighboring-rights societies worldwide, and collect neighboring rights, mechanicals, and performance royalties most distributors leave on the table.

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Detailed Royalty Reports every quarter, with payment within 30 days of each quarter-end. No held earnings, $10 minimum payout, and you keep the right to audit our books once a year.

What is the EPK?

Your Electronic Press Kit is a public artist page hosted at distribution.angvis.com/epk/your-slug. It pulls in your photo, long bio, genres, social links, and booking email - everything a booker or press contact needs in one shareable link.

How do I set it up and share it?

Open EPK in your dashboard. Once your photo, bio, and slug are in your profile, your EPK is ready. Toggle publish on, copy the link, and send it. You can unpublish at any time.

Can I edit what's on it?

Accepted Answer

Yes - everything on your EPK pulls from your Profile in the dashboard: photo, bio, genres, social links, and booking email. Update it there and your EPK updates with it.

How does the release plan work?

Once your release is approved, a six-phase rollout calendar appears in your dashboard: pre-release runway (T-60 to T-31), amplification (T-30 to T-15), release week (T-7 to T-1), release day, post-release momentum (T+1 to T+7), and long-tail (T+8 to T+30). Each phase has actions tailored to your release type and date.

Are the actions the same for every release?

No. The plan adapts to your release type and date - actions, copy, and links use your real release context. You can check off what you've done, skip what doesn't fit, and see what's coming up next.

Where do I find it?

Open Release Plan in your dashboard, then pick the release you want to plan. Each active release has its own calendar.

What is the Collab Pool?

A private directory of every ANGVIS Music Distribution artist who's opted in - filterable by role (producer, vocalist, songwriter, instrumentalist, DJ), genre, and location (city, country, region, or worldwide). It's discoverable only to other approved artists on the platform.

How do I reach out to someone?

Open their card and message them directly through the platform. Conversations stay inside the platform - no need to swap personal contacts to start a conversation.

Can I stay out of it?

Yes. The Collab Pool is opt-in. Toggle visibility on or off in your Profile settings. You can browse the pool without being listed in it.

How long is the agreement?

One year from acceptance, then auto-renews for additional one-year terms. Either side can opt out of renewal with 60 days written notice before the term ends. You are never locked in for the year, though: you can also end the agreement early at any time with 30 days written notice (see "Can I leave mid-term?" below).

What's the actual royalty split?

82.5% to you, 17.5% to ANGVIS Music Distribution on streaming, downloads, neighboring rights, and publishing administration. Calculated on what we actually receive from platforms and collection societies, after their own fees.

How does sync work and what's the split?

Accepted Answer

ANGVIS Music Distribution holds exclusive one-stop sync authority on your delivered tracks during the term - we license master and composition together for film, TV, advertising, and games. Sync fees are split 50/50, and our 50% is the full commission on that placement (no further deduction).

What rights do you actually take?

Accepted Answer

Exclusive distribution and one-stop sync on the specific tracks you deliver, plus exclusive publishing administration of those compositions for the term. You keep ownership of your masters and your compositions - we administer and collect, we don't acquire.

Question 21

Can I leave mid-term?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 30 days written notice from either side ends the agreement, all rights revert to you, and you receive a final royalty report within 60 days. The only carve-out is a short sync sunset window - up to 60 days (extendable to 90) to close sync deals already in negotiation at termination.

What if I sign with a record label later?

Accepted Answer

If a third-party label deal requires exclusive distribution of your future recordings, you can terminate the agreement and the rights revert. Existing tracks already on ANGVIS Music Distribution can stay or come back to you depending on what the label deal covers.
